For Immediate Release: Max Holm to Perform at 58th Annual Monterey Jazz Festival

September 16, 2015, Stockton, CA — Max Holm, 2015-2016 Brubeck Institute Fellowship winner, will be performing at the 58th Annual Monterey Jazz Festival, September 18 to 20.
Holm, who’s performed for audiences as large as 60,000 persons as recently as July 4th 2015, was chosen for the 2014 Jazz Band of America and received the Outstanding Piano Soloist Award from Wynton Marsalis at the 2013 Essentially Ellington Competition at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City, among many other honors.
Holm has performed with many of his idols, including Jon Batiste and Stay Human, Wynton Marsalis, Kirk Whalum, Robin Eubanks and Ira Sullivan, among many others.

Monterey Jazz Festival Performances:
Saturday, September 19 he’ll perform as part of the Brubeck Institute Jazz Quintet, starting at 1 PM on the North Coast Brewing Company Jazz Education Pavilion Courtyard Stage.
Sunday, September 20 he’ll perform as part of a trio, starting at 1 PM on the same stage.
