Another gig today at the Indianapolis Artsgarden Dome in the Center Mall. Playing a beautiful Steinway. This has been the most amazing experience of my life, so far. Playing for 2,000 people. Gigging with Robin Eubanks. Tonight is the awards banquet. Tomorrow home. I’m going to miss playing and hanging out with the guys in the 2014 Jazz Band of America.

Random Jazz Band of America photos. It’s been an amazing experience!

Top photo is us boarding the bus to Clowes Hall at Butler University for the Music for All National Festival. Playing for 2,000 people. Middle photo is of me and my suitemates morning routine. This is how we brush our teeth. 🙂 Bottom is Clowes Memorial Hall at the sound check. Did I mention 2,000 people?

Jazz Band of America 2014 Director Caleb Chapman leads the long rehearsals. Yes, we rehearsed in tuxedos for 9 hours. Except for that one guy. There’s always that one guy.

Rehearsing with trombonist Robin Eubanks. Playing with him at the Music for All Festival as a member of Jazz Band of America, Indianapolis Arts Garden tomorrow, Friday, March 7.
