This is the 3rd year in a row that I’ve been selected for an all state jazz band. This year I’ll be in the 2015 Utah All State Jazz Band, performing in St. George, UT on February 6.

Jazz is the art of instant composition, which is what improvisation is. Check out my improv yesterday at Jazz Encounters. I had no idea what I had played until I saw this video.
